79 Halloween Novel Pumpkin MASK #1 of 2....update,SOLD

crazy rare test mask here. #1 of only 2. i will not be making more of these because no one will buy them,but this test copy is available. this of course is from the 1979 Halloween novel cover. cast directly off a vintage pumpkin pail from the 60s -70s. the exact same design as the pumpkin on the novel cover. its full size too. latex. could be worn. virtually no size loss from the original. eyes and mouth have black screens.. its got a few minor imperfections,like a real pumpkin. unique rare piece. #1 and groovy. i doubt theres another like this anywhere..until it gets copied..which it will eventually. for now,this is probably the only one on the planet,except for the blank i am keeping. email if you want it.

1979 Halloween novel - cover art Pumpkin find

i was always a fan of the cover art on the vintage Halloween novels. until recently,i did not know that the pumpkin on this version of the 1979 Halloween cover was based on a real item. i found a match(a few of them actually)by accident while searching out vintage Halloween stuff. how i never saw this old blow mold pumpkin before is a mystery because when i saw this one the other day i recognized it right away. it's a 13 inch tall trick or treat pail. the design is almost certainly from the 1960s,and probably continued into the 70s.. which makes sense for the 1979 artwork. its a dead on match to the pumpkin on the cover. interesting vintage Halloween find.
